Fossils are the hardened remains or traces of an animal or plant of a former age. In Florida, animal fossil predominate. We include both vertebrate and invertebrate fossils in our programs, activities, and personal collections. |
| Our Membership comes from many counties in Florida, other states, Canada and Europe, and includes several professional paleontologists, geologists, and Museum Curators. |
